The Youth Concil of Lund

Now the Climate Gathering is started.

The first thing will be a Youth Concil. Here in Lund the young people meet to tell the politican and adult what we want to do in our town. We have this big meeting four times a year and then we have smaller committees with smaller projects, like committee of education, committee of culture. I'm in the committee of enviromental questions and our latest project have been to work with this Glimate Gathering. We have our on economy and there are always politicans attentig to the Youth concils meeting. If you are between 12-24 years old and live or go to school in Lund, you're alloweed to vote at the Youth Concil. We got 100.000kr from the commune every year and we decied on your on what we will use the money to. We have the full responsibility for our own projects and it's a free politican zone, in the Youth Concil you represent yourself and not a not a party. It's free and if you don't want to be a part of the Youth Coucil we won't force you to be there. Where doing this because we want to be apart of whats happening and because it's funny. =)

The Youth Concil is formed by young people and for young people.
